Héritage 1830 is made from the old vines of the property, which is located on the upper part of the property, the sunniest part.
WINE MAKING
Fermentation takes place in barrels for 3 weeks with temperature control, we make a complete vinification in French oak barrels. After running off, the wine is aged in Allier oak barrels for 24 months.
We produce about 1000 bottles. L'HERITAGE 1830 2016 is 100% Merlot made from 100% barrel vinification.
CULTURE
The best of our hand-picked grapes come from vines that are 30 and 40 years old. We jealously preserve their authenticity by avoiding the use of weed-killers and additives that are foreign to the terroir.
