The 1830 inheritance comes from the old vines of the property which is located on the upper part of the property, the sunniest part.
Fermentation is done in barrels for 3 weeks with temperature control, we make an integral vinification in French oak cask. after running off, the wine is raised in oak casks of the Allier for 24 months.
We produce about 1000 bottles. The HERITAGE 1830 2016 is 100% Merlot resulting from full winemaking in barrels.
The best of our selected and hand-picked grapes come from 30-and 40-year-old vines that we jealously preserve authenticity by discarding the use of foreign herbicides and additives in the terroir.
